Tulsa area Rock and Roll Bands Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 04:37 PM Hi Class of 72, How about some input on local rock bands of the early 70's from the Tulsa area.Liquid Static, Gruesome Blues, Potluck and Beggin, Fusion The Hallucinations, later known as Sundog are some that I remember. Gary Smith of Liquid Static's Dad owned the Golden Burger on 61st. Some great memories at Dutch's Party Barn and the Keg with some of the above bands. Pick your brains and let's add some more bands, places and hangouts to this list. See Ya at the Reunion, Frank Devorak |

RE: Tulsa area Rock and Roll Bands Posted Friday, April 20, 2012 01:59 PM Thanks Jim for the input. Do you know Gary Smith of Liquid Static? He still has jam sessions at his Diner, "Hatfields" on Admiral & Garnett. He was neighbors with Ricky Durbin/ Hallucinations. Again thanks for info, Frank .. |
